I'm not sure it's a good idea to rearrange an interview just because it's short notice... But, either way, there's a lot of information around re interview questions etc - you may just want to go to your local library to pick a couple which I often find better than information on the internet. Also find out as much as you can about the company and think about why you want to work there.
And think about why you want this career - there's obviously health reasons but there's got to be something better to say
(not suggesting you would have said that!)
Last but not least, think about why you want an apprenticeship, what appeals to you etc.0 -
I did manage to rearrange what was I supposed to do. I got email on the Monday and wanted me to go on the Wednesday at half 9. Was I supposed to just not turn up at work and probably get the sack. The college was fine about rearranging. If I had few more days notice it would have been better to rearrange work but 1 and half days no.
Thank you for tips I do have other reasons for doing this line of work such as i enjoy using computers and I have pre existing skills which I feel I could expand on. I feel this work will enable me to influence and help a company even if it is just a small way.Mortgage free wannabe

Well, you didn't say that work was your reason to re-arrange the interview
Good luck with the interview!0 -

Hi I'm a 30 year old single parent and recently lost my job, I've worked from the age of 14 and always provided for myself and never claimed benefits, but now wondering if it's possible to do an apprentiship and learn a trade to support my son and me in the long run rather than taking on another menial job, no disrespect to anyone as I've went from washing pots to running a kitchen I just want some prospect for the future for my son and me? Has anyone done this and how did the manage financially?0

Just as a note, the apprenticeship national minimum wage (unless 19+ and in second year of training) is only £2.73 ph.
Obviously that is not what all employers pay, but it is worth mentioning.0 -

For specific advice, I would start your own thread but the simple answer to your question is yes.0
