Would you write and tell the debt company they are inept

well as above really.......

or is it a pointless exercise? after endlessly trying to sort a full and final, i wrote and asked what they would accept-they told me but said i had to contact them before paying for full details-which i asked them to send by return of post.
cue another generic letter saying in order to consider my offer (it wasn't mine it was theirs) to let them know where the money was coming from/finances bah blah blah. i've already told them its off a relative (actually i had a bit and my moms offered to lend me a bit extra to get rid of them - i can afford to pay my mom if im not paying them)
so is it within reason to say... your inept, youve already have all the information requested- ive tried and tried-obviously you don't want me to settle, ill continue with my monthly payments and wont write again until i receive the original CCA requested back in April.

i'm usually very calm and meek but i've really had enough of these idiots :wall:.

oh a nicer note....nice weather we are having:j

If they haven't complied with a CCA request then stop paying. They can't pursue you until they have complied with that. It might get their attention.

    Agree with the above.

Despite all the conflicting information out there, if they have not complied with your CCA request, the creditor is still unable to obtain a CCJ against you until such time as the CCA request IS complied with.

Write back stating they are in breach of your CCA request, and until the breach is satisfied you will be with holding payment.

    That usually works.;)
