eBay Motors are offering two lucky competition winners with the opportunity to win a car makeover with £10,000 worth of parts & accessories purchased from eBay Motors.

If you’ve ever wanted uprated brakes, a new turbo, a top notch sound system or maybe lowered suspension and new wheels, this is the prize to win.

The transformation of the winner’s car will take place at West Surrey Racing Team, the guys who maintain the three BTCC eBay BMW motors. eBay Motors Chief Mechanic Steve Buckell and his team will transform your car with a grand reveal to take place at Brands Hatch where the winner will also get to ride a hot lap in an eBay Motors car with a driver from the eBay Motors team. Plus eBay will even stump up £400 for car hire whilst your motor is being worked on!

There are two £10,000 car makeovers up for grabs, one to be awarded in September and a second in October. There are also runners up prizes for hot laps and also eBay vouchers so if you don’t win one of the two the grand prizes you can still spend some money on your car.

All you need to do to enter is add your car to your eBay Garage and add a photo. It couldn’t be simpler.

If you win, what’s the one thing you’d want the eBay Motors team to do to your car? (and please don’t say “fix it”, your car has to be roadworthy with tax, MOT and Insurance before they start work on it!).

And after they have finished modifying your car it will invalidate your insurance

If only I was a 17 year old boy...

Shame this can't be used to 'fix it' because I have 2 cars and both are off the road and will cost a lot to repair.

You would have to notify your insurance company of the modifications, and I'm reasonably confident that your insurer would be looking for an additional premium! :rotfl:

    7. Winner's Details

    1. The Motor Makeover will be executed by West Surrey Racing mechanics. The Grand Prize Winners and WSR will agree on the details of the Motor Makeover. The agreed measures will be documented and signed by the Grand Prize Winners and WSR.
I imagine you would discuss with them what they think is feasible for your car when you deliver it to them, as that amount of money will result in a fairly substantial modification to it. We're not talking about jacking it up, putting Rostyles on and adding a couple of fluffy dice here... :rotfl:
Thanks to all who post constructively.
