It's best we introduce the advents to you gradually, so as not to scare you off.

They are daily comps that provide prizes each day in the lead up to Christmas.

Yeah, I feel the same about football comps. Still having a go on the offchance but I'm clueless

Ok, I'll try to explain. Have you seen the film "Groundhog Day"? Imagine that, but the day that's being repeated is like the busiest, most frantic, most horrific day of your life. Then multiply the busy aspects by around 30. There you go, that's the advents and a fairly good description of how you will spending every day in December, if you stick with comping.

(The strangest part being, that in spite of all the above being true, it's also kind've fun - but don't tell anyone I admitted that.)

:rotfl: No - I never miss out on the early ones! But I always think of Advent starting on Dec 1st when my tree goes up!

I too dislike football comps, but I make up scores which are so totally unrealistic that if they came true I would be the only winner.

I have have correctly predicted all of England's losses though *woo*

And advents?! Why why did you have to mention those! I'll need a cup of eggnog to calm down now.
