My wake up moment

Hi Folks this is my first post
After years of struggling with debts, juggling balance transfers, loans etc., I finally made the call to Stepchange last night. I had been putting it off because I felt my situation was so complicated they wouldn't be able to help. I had even considered a secured consolidation loan but even that would have been a struggle.
The person I spoke to was extremely helpful and I will ring back one evening and go through their debt remedy process. I'm sure whatever option they suggest I will have some challenges ahead but at least I have made the first step.
I would urge anyone to make the same step. I have been so ashamed of the state of my finances I couldn't see a way out and was sticking my head in the sand.
Will post more once I have a solution and maybe some of you can give me some extra advice on managing my money.
I will be debt free one day - hopefully :-)
