Grants for training on ESA

Hi, I am after some advice. I am currently receiving the highest rate of income based ESA for my rapid cycling bi-polar and ADHD and have not worked for the past 2 years.
I currently volunteer as a coach for a local kids football team and I believe I have found a career opportunity which would allow me to get back into work. I have a number of triggers which can bring on an episode, and stress is usually the one which can leave me on the brink of hospitalisation. My previous career was highly stressful and I had multiple episodes. And as I get older, they get worse.
My club has kindly paid for my first level coaching course (£150) which i passed. The problem is they just cannot afford to send me on the level 2 as it is £500, they are a charity and are barely surviving as it is.
The level 2 is basically the gateway certificate into a paid role with a club, so if I am going to get back to work, the minimum I need is that qualification. Are there any grants from the government that could assist me? I phoned the job centre and she was as helpful as a bag of rocks, apparently they only give out grants if the course is government approved?!?
Thanks for your help.

Speak to your local FE College that provides the L2 Coaching as you may well get fee remission for being on ESA. You could then try your local League or Premier League club's Foundation (charity & community arm) as they may well have some funding for this. Then, if you get no joy, try the county sports partnership, football league trust or FA for information on funding for coaching quals.0
