I have poor credit, due to being unemployed through ill health for several years. I am job searching but poor health along with long employment gap means employers don't look at my application twice. I can only echo what others have said - you have a zero chance of getting a loan.

Looking at it from the point of view of the person who lent you the money; they will now realise that lending money to friends is not a good idea.

So give up all notion of getting a loan. Have a chat with your friend and tell him that you cannot afford to repay him all at once and there is no way you can raise the money. He will have to accept it.
