HI All ,
what are the Leeds building society reviews , experiences here for current month or last one. HAs anyone had issues with delays. Applied for FTB shared ownership mortgage and so far they only asked for one doc and provided, so now it is all quiet.

They've only asked for one document?
Standard SO packaging for our cases is;-
signed use of personal info form
direct debit
signed memorandum of sale
proof of deposit/gift
proof of rent
ID/POR
latest three months' payslips
latest three months' bank statements
fees.
We upload this as soon as we submit the application in every case.I am a mortgage broker. Sorry my mistake, so far only 1 extra document was requested. all above was already provided.0 -
We completed with Leeds in May, the only additional info they asked us for was proof that we had paid rent over the past 12 months (joint bank account statements). Despite the many horror stories about Leeds it was pretty plain sailing for us...no doubt thanks to our broker :beer:0

thank you for your reply, can you let me know how long it took from the date of actual application submission to completion (not from DIP)
thank you0 -
The only meaningful measure is application to offer.
Completion is a combination of so many non-mortgage related issues it makes comparison meaningless.
A Leeds application to offer in three weeks or less is pretty reasonable IMHO.I am a mortgage broker.
