CarCrafty - NAC

Hi there.

It seems to be that this company is coming up time and time again with their conning of the average Joe.

My sister was one who had taken out an agreement on a vehicle, and was also mis sold the 5 year NAC Warranty. Being advised that the vehicle would be covered in pretty much every issue besides wear and tear that you could think of. Turns out also that if you miss a regular 6 month service (with very specific servicing garages) the NAC warranty becomes null and void.

So she's now stuck with paying for a 5 year contract which would not cover the vehicle anyway.

This seems to be happening a lot and I feel it's time for people to do something about it.

It is worth contacting Watchdog regarding the issues with CarCraft as it's just not on. It's legal borderline robbery and it shouldn't be allowed.

Hopefully enough people might get in touch and something gets done about it.

Was she advised at the time that in order to maintain the warranty the car was required to undergo a 6-month service at a specified garage?

If its mentioned in the contract that you need to take it to a certain garage then I cant see what the problem is.

When you work out how much a car from Carcraft is costing, against how much it could have been bought for elsewhere, spending money on a worthless warranty is almost negligable.
