Do Men still wear 'short' shorts nowadays?

I still have some of these from my running days. I still use them for indoors and walking out on hot days because they are cooler and easier to put on than the ridiculous things which almost come down to your knee. Unfortunately they need stiching up too often. Can you still buy the 'short' shorts?

This is the sort of thing I mean from a US site I think

Strange but I remember my Dad laughing at the old 'Tom Finney' type 1930s soccer players who used to wear knee length shorts thinking they were old fashioned, now these are modern and the 80s style is retro. Same with boxer shorts underwear they seem to look like something your great grandad used to wear. Does fashion revert back every hundred years?

Depends on how well endowed you are - I have to wear ones down to my knee to protect my modesty :rotfl:

Come to think of it most middle and long distance athletes still wear them for the same reason, to cool more effectively and impart less resistance to leg movement. So they must still be available from athletic shops. Thanks anyway.

    I've been Money Tipped!
They're definitely still available from sporting goods shops - I but them for my OH who runs from places like wiggle or sweatshop.

They aren't usually worn except while exercising though.

Next, have some shorter than normal shorts in the mens section.

    All colours. Hope that helps.
