Lol!! I applied over the phone a few years ago and was declined as failed credit check. We have now repaired our score and I phoned today to apply again. The lady on the phone said it now has to be done in branch she only did a quick check to see if we met the criteria which we did. When I asked if that included the credit check she said no as she didn't think they did one now and just go on affordability . I just find that a bit hard to believe really and wondered if anyone had gone through the process recently?0
