    I've gone for the rate as stated - as my IFA advised me if I wait until tomorrow I may not get it!

    The 5 year fix that I signed up to on Tuesday is now 6.19%. Thats quite a jump!

    they were starting to suffer from service issues , my guess caused by being competitive in a number of areas, so these changes are likely more about trying to steady flow of business
