Hi all,
I am retired and would like to do my tax return online.
I tried but it asks for my UTR number.
Can anyone tell me how I get this please ?

It should be shown on the paper tax return they sent you, or on other correspondence from them, such as reminders for previous years or tax demands. It's a ten digit number. Sometimes, their systems don't show it, and instead show just your NI number and employers PAYE code - if that's the case, you need to phone them to ask them to send you the UTR - they'll only send by post and won't give it over the phone.0

The HMRC website suggests it can be obtained online as part of the SA registration process.
