How clean do you leave a holiday place?

I leave the place tidy, but I generally clean and tidy as I go, just as I would at home. I don't put any special effort in but I never would leave the place messy. I don't stripe the beds but leave them made.Debt Remaing £315 :jBreath out the past, Breath in the futureBig Dreams Start Small0

How does listing occupations on a booking form prove whether the group is or is not a stag/hen party? I cannot see the link!
Neither can I, but then I don't ask that question. Just talking about group bookings generally, not always as welcome as many people would like to think, and stag and hen parties have, in my experience, the worst reputation of all.Better is good enough.0 -
I used to clean caravans and chalets for a campsite in Devon during my student days and I was shocked how filthy some of them were. I think that some had the mentality that they were on holiday and were not going to do anything to keep their caravan clean.
One of the worst caravans was left with an overflowing bin in the kitchen and a weeks worth of dirty disposable nappies lined up against the kitchen wall, yuck.
Lots of the caravans were left with fat still in the grill rack in the oven and a sink full of dirty dishes, dirty pants left on the bedroom floor, hairs all over the bathroom floor (it looked like a gorilla had stayed for the week). It is not a job I would ever want to do again.

I'm amazed at this thread - guess i'm part of the !!!!!! alert earlier
Beds - left unmade ( that way they know which to change)
Rubbish - in bins (of course)
Toilets - left uncleaned (Other than of course any marks which needed brushing as we go.
Towels - in bath or shower (Again, clear what has been used)
Floors - unhoovered (Unless something bad had happened)
In short - we tidy up after ourselves, but I'm not on holiday to clean. I pay someone at home to clean for me - why on earth would i clean on holiday.
(And nothing winds me up more than house guests who take it on themselves to strip my bedlinen - it's so rude to think you can just take apart someone's bedding without asking. )0 -
We take rubbish out everyday. With me I take washing up liquid, sponge, spray to clean grill, black bags, small dustpan and brush and antibacterial wipes. I clean as I go like I do at home but I won't Hoover or strip beds. When we packing up to leVe with 3 kids it's not something we have time to worry aboutHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0
