Today we had a appointment with our bank. Very helpful young lady. Understood why we had come in the see them- Hubby on sick for minimum of 14 weeks. She phones the mortgage company.Who eventually speaks to me to tell me- you have a shortfull of £97 a month. so we could go to the lending team and agree a new payment of £79 a month which would give you the money you need to pay your mortgage- you could go to CAB or a debt agency to pay minimum and have interest capped. but then you will be down as a bad creditor which then could end up going to court and having a CCJ against you- Plus mortgage payments come first, the council tax then water rates ( Doh we know that) But we cant say defiantly until we know exatlu how much SSP your husband is going to get it week ( Have already told him how much he will get!!!) The whole point of going In to speak to someone was to sort it out so that we DONT get into a mess and end up as bad creditiors. so now I feel like screaming!!! Why cant they just listen Grrr we wanted a month interest only or a months holiday so we could put enough aside ready for the next month!! Why don't they listen ???

We did- The girl at our branch phoned through to the mortgage people. Sorry perhaps I didn't make that but very clear- It was the mortgage people that said we could make reduced payments to our loan etc so that we could pay our mortgage in full every month.CC1 1932.43
