Hiya
I've just invested in one of these after reading good things about them on this thread and never having the right size tin for a recipie. I'm just baking my first lot of brownies (from a recipie on here yesterday) and some of the mixture had oozed out of the gaps in the dividers. Is this normal, is this ok?
I'm off to search this thread for tray bakes now.

Hi, Liz :j I have 2 of these - a square one and a 30cm one with dividers for cakes all the way down to 5cm square.
I line mine with greaseproof, and don't have any trouble with leakage.
I've recently invested in a sheet of liner, so will make a reusable liner - really good for brownies.

Ahhhh brilliant idea. Why didn't I think of that. The brownies were perfect apart from the bit that had leaked into the other section. 15 brownies for immedicate consumption and 18 in the freezer for pack lunches. Thanks again xxJanuary budget

I've never had a leak with mine - was the mixture very runny. Plus I use the teflon liner as mentioned above. In fact I bought several of them. I use one whole one on my home made baking tray. I got a piece of cardboard just smaller than the shelf inside my oven. Covered it in several layers of tin foil and just pop the reusable liner on top. Means I can cook quite large quantities of biscuits/pasties etc all on one shelf.0

Hiya
It was that runny but when I took the brownies out of oven the sectioned off parts had about a cm of mix in which had obviously burnt. Used it again today for a sponge cake and lined it with greaseproof paper which worked brilliantly. So, really pleased with it now.
Thanks again xxJanuary budget
