How long in advance can candyfloss be made?

I want to fill a big salad bowl with candyfloss for a party, there's so much to do on the day I was wondering if it could be made the night before. The bowl has a lid but isn't airtight. Has anyone had any experience?

The fairs must do candyfloss the night before, but i can't see that serving it in a big bowl will be easy!! or hygienic!!0
