Have been lurking on here for a while and have decided to make my own diary after been very inspired. My main reasons for starting a diary are to encourage myself to save and stick to a budget without the need to use our overdraft. Iam currently on maternity leave and am due to start back in july (starting work in sept) when I return I am reducing my hours and so need to stick to budgets!! I do have debts but can pay these comfortably from my wage. Me and DH just need to stop spendingmoney on things we dont need.
I have sat down with hubby and worked out new budgets and am ready to start tomorrow (hubbys payday). Feeling quite excited about it!
Here are some things that I have already done to start my saving journey:
♥ joined survey websites
♥used cashback sites
♥ recently had solar panels fitted
♥ set a new budget
Feeling excited about my new journey:rotfl:

Not been on here for a while, but have been busy trying not to spend, hubby been off work whihc always means we spend less, he is off most of next week so all good as we can save moneyand get house sorted! Mum gave us the heads up about a new park and ride scheme for hubby, he is using it and it currently saving us about 6 pound a day in parking. Am so pleased about this. I have been paid and for the first time in ages we were not overdrawn. My next wage will have my overtime in and hubbys should have a bonus, will put this money towards holiday spends as we are away for two weekends. Feeling positive again about our journey. Also got my new contract through for my reduced hours, why cant they just tell you how much you will get in your pay packet. Hope everyone has a good day eventhough its raining.:(Loan4795/12000
