reduction of hours worked weekly and pension credit

Hello All,
the situation:
My dad (63yo) works part time and gets pension credit (currently about £45 a week) to top up his earnings. His health is not great but he wants to continue working so we thought he could reduce his hours at work which would mean he makes about £20 less each week. Will his pension credit increase to still give him a weekly income of £148 or whatever it is or will it stay the same as it technically would be his choice to work less? I understand that would be the case with JSA or some other benefits, is it the same with PC?
Couldn't quite find the answer in the old threads so thought I would ask to get some clarification.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Might be better posting on the benefits board but I presume the employers would be ok with him reducing hours?Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0

I have just noticed I posted it in employment not benefits, sorry. Will repost there. The employer would be ok about it, some of the jobs he does can be taken over by other people he works with.0
