2 x defaults reappear on credit file 3 years after they fell off.

Furious. Have worked hard to clear the slate, my last default was to drop off at the beginning of this month to find 2 old defaults that were cleared in 2008 and fell off my file in 2011 have reappeared as defaulted in 2008 so not due to fall off end of this year.

Don't have any info on it as it was paid in full. Default dates were 2005, cleared in 2008 and fell off in 2011. It wasn't on noddle beginning of May, it was on their by 6th June. I have ordered a copy of £2 stat report from experian and will have a fit if they're showing on their as well.

Oh and they're both for O2 accounts. Where do I start, does anyone have an address for a department that would deal with default notices? The defaults were applied before the accounts were transferred to dca's.

So bloody furious can't even think straight, tempted to troll their twitter account. Livid!!!

Complain to O2. Make sure they know that you will take them to the coms ombudsman and Information Commissioner if they don't remove them.

Not sure about a specific address?

I found an email for the CEO, it bounced back. I've emailed it to their complaints dept from address taken off their website, says allow 7 days. Got a copy of experian and they're not on there so can understand why it's on noddle?? I forgot there was a comms ombudsman- next stop. Thanks

You can also raise a dispute through whichever CRAs it is showing on. Should be a button to click to do that on the online noddle report besides or under the entry.

Complain direct to O2 as well. Do it in a formal fashion demanding a copy of their complaints procedure and a final response so you can take it to the ombudsman etc if you are not happy with their response.

Thanks Fermi, have reported it to noddle and they have a month to come back to me. I fully intend on fighting this till it's resolved. It's a worry though, if they can do it once they can do it again and it's frustrating when I've worked hard to repair my credit rating and get rid of my debts.

Will update the thread soon as I hear back from either of them.
