Dodgy email?!!

since I started comping I get a few suspicious emails which I normally delete. Had an email this evening from Hm Rev and customs in my spam folder saying im due a tax rebate!


any one else had this due to comps? Surely it's not legit as it asks me to download form to complete= Which I haven't! xx

Had 2 in my spam box, just delete and ignore

I get them all the time. Ignore them - and ones from Paypal

I got two of them this afternoon that I just deleted. Hey, spam like that is why we have dedicated comping email addresses!

I have been self employed that's why I was only 95% sure it was a scam. Thanks guys! xx

Occupational hazard I'm afraid,and yes it,s a scam e-mail. Don't open any from them, or any purporting to be from a bank, paypal or anybody you don't know, especially if it has an attatchment

If it's the same one I had this afternoon - and I'll bet it was if they're doing the rounds then the appalling spelling alone should have told you it couldn't be real! It was a real shocker of an attempt - I do reserve a special kind of contempt for a scammer who doesn't even try!

yep yep, spam spam, get them every day. just go through and delete all that arent wins!
