Upon Receiving A Letter From A DCA

If you receive a letter from a DCA requesting payment for an old debt which you believe to be SB what is the first letter you should send them?
Prove It?
CCA?
or..SB template?
or all three?
I have obtained my stat £2 reports from all 3 agencies and they are all clean but suspect they will add my details to their various Tallyman/Debt recovery databases and I may be getting a letter very shortly.
Thanks for advice on how to proceed.

No payment or acknowledgment since June 2007...unsecured credit card/loan...debt was opened probably 2006.

If you really feel you want to reply rather than ignore, then I would perhaps start with a basic
