Just wanted to say

StepChange are amazing!!!!!

Entered into my DMP in Jan, scary long time to pay it off but SC are amazing, very friendly on the phone and understanding. A huge weight off my shoulders, slept properly for the first night in weeks. Best thing I ever did!

I called them recently and they were so helpful and understanding - no judgement at all. Unfortunately (fortunately?) they couldn't help me as in theory I have enough to cover my debts so I'm 'going it alone' so to speak with the wonderful help from posters here.

Wishing you the very best of luck in becoming debt free.

It's a hard thing, but shopping around and being more frugal in your approach to things will have the same benefit - look at paying more into your debts and reducing outgoings - sounds simple and perfect common sense, but definitely harder in practise!

Good luck to you too! :-)
  • I've told a few of my friends about them ,but they just seem to want to stick their heads in the sand, because they don't want people knowing their business!

They made a big difference in my life many years ago.
    Was a 40 a day smoker for 20 years.
Decided to give up, and haven't had a fag for 12 years.

    Looking forward to early retirement.
