Cheap rice?

Is the really cheap rice not as nutritious as the normal stuff? Or is it just a matter of taste.

Brown rice is the best, the white stuff is bleached to make it white.0

When only the husk of the grain is removed, you get brown rice.
If the next layers down - the bran and the germ - are also removed, you get white rice.0 -

I used to buy the value long grain rice, it was about 40p for 1KG. I thought it was nice.
But then I gave up white rice, pasta and bread. So now I use this: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=278086264 and the taste is far superior!0 -
I have bought the value basmati rice and there is no difference in the regular own brand apart from the packaging. The tesco own brand is 'resealable' (it is for until the sticker loses its stickiness) and the value one you ideally have to put it in a sealable tub or it may end up everywhere.
That's the only difference.0
