Offset mortgage with good online banking / current account - SUGGESTIONS?

Hi, i'm moving house and would like another offset mortgage that has all the benefits of First Direct - easy online banking, current accounts with cashcards linked to the offset.

A couple of mortgage advisors linked to estate agents are pushing me towards Accord (owned by Yorkshire Building Society) but their offset account makes you use CHEQUES by POST! Yuck!

I'd like to stay with First Direct but the 4 week application process is putting me off.

Could anybody recommend any other offset mortgages that have good online / linked current account services, who are a little bit keener for new business than First Direct?

Thanks!

Natwest barclays and yorkshire bank (not society) all do offset mortgage with current account linked and you can have quite few accounts linked too

Thanks for the info. I forgot to mention that i'd ideally like a fixed rate offset, it looks like Natwest was the only one of the three that had a fixed rate offset.

    So I need:

    1. Offset
    2. Online banking with current accounts
    3. Fixed rate deals

    Sorry being fussy!

only banks that offer offset mortgage are natwest barclays santander yorkshire bank and first direct.
there are some building society's like yorkshire building society, Accord offer offset mortgage too and few more but you will find that they either dont offer current account or no internet banking or fixed rate.

We have a YBS offset mortgage which is now on a tracker ( was fixed for 5 years) BUT we also have a local branch in town which is only one mile away.
They have some of the best fixed rate deals on the market and Friends&Family.
No cash card for withdrawing money as you have to go into branch
