Hi all,
I'm looking to join one of the cheap, no frills gyms in Manchester city centre, but not sure which one to go for an wondered if any of you are members and can give me an idea of what each one is like.
I'm looking to mainly keep fit, with a bit of muscle work, so free weights aren't vitaly important as I'll mostly be on the rower, treadmill and bike, and some of the weight machines or doing push ups and pull ups.
I've been looking at:
I know these are budget gyms so not expecting pools and saunas etc. but would be good to know how much equpiment each one has, how busy they get at certain times and general cleanliness and presentation.
I'll mainly be using them after work so the 5pm to 6pm area, so wondered how busy they are at this time, and what equipment availability/wait time is like.
Thanks

I've been looking at:
-
Ben Dunne - £13p/m or £99 upfront for 12 months on Whitworth Street
-
The Gym - £15p/m on New York Street
-
PureGym - about £20p/m at Spinningfields or Ancoats
-
Are there any others I'm missing or should consider?
