wont bore every one with all the details but i did want to put this up for people /desperate/ stupid enough to want a loan.
friend needed loan
not a good idea I said shall we work out your money?
no. Need a loan
ok how much? [did think I could help but not got enough spare dosh]
1,000 pounds.
ok what's it for [got usual rubbish off person concerned ]
said don't do it think about
any way applied got approved :T:T:T:T:T
then got bombared with tex messages emails offering loans at stupid rates 10 days in still no loan only usual rubbish fill this in fill that in and guess what no MONEY [by friend has no hair]
4 weeks in NO MONEY
GOT ASKED can I get refund of the fee they took even they said they don't [T.C.S SAY DIFFERENT] applied on 4 June by phone "you have to do it via web page" I will send log in details 5 requests still no details
3 emails 3 letters
3 phone calls today and yes finally got on web page for refund message the total removed from her account is
69.99+ 9.99 admin fee
total refund offered £34.00 what a total sham???? this company

have done nothing but give this person the run around never offered a loan just how to fill forms in which is truly shocking

These loan broker style companies all work in pretty much the same way.

If you find you have had a broker membership fee taken from your account then you need to cancel in writing within 14 days, and if you do so you will either get a refund of the whole amount, or in some cases the whole amount less £5. This clause and the address to write to will be in the T&Cs on the companies website.

I assume from your post your friend did not do this - but for anyone else reading the page in future that is what you need to do to get a refund.

What valuable lessons has your friend learned?

1. Borrowing more money is not the answer
2. Stop borrowing money because he/she is obviously crap at it.
3. Read the terms and conditions, which you do check to confirm you've read, before giving out your debit card details to all and sundry.

Those are the main lesson that I can see.
