price match at supermarket

notice supermarkets will price match - but do you have to have the leaflet of the other supermarket or some kind of physical proof ?-or do you just say a "supermarket x" has them cheaper at a certain price?

Usually a newspaper advert, or receipt from the other shop is all thats needed

Only ever done it at Asda but you need the advert as proof for the checkout operator there0

They match any price......but only if they don't have it on offer themselves. That's the way it works at ASDA Pudsey anyway! :beer:0
