Close Assistance

Hi,
sorry if the answer has already been posted but I can`t seem to find it.

I had a car finance agreement with Online finance but was late with several payments so a company called Close Assistance contacted me with regard to the debt. I have paid them a full monthly payment in June but they are insisting in coming to see me in person to discuss the debt.

Am i correct in insisting that they only deal with me by letter?

Would an offer of 2% of the debt be sufficient until I can come up with a budget sheet from the CAB

Online finance say I owe £1380 + £360 in charges

Close Assistance say I owe £2161

Can they add this amount on as "fees"

thanks in advance for any help
