Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish issues

Got a free sample of this and its fine when I wipe it off straight away but last night I left it on for a while and when I wiped it off my face went beetroot red. Its put me off using now which is a pity as I have had compliments on my skin since using it. Has anyone else had this reaction from it?

Also, its supposed to remove all eye make up but doesn't seem to remove mine which defeats the object of it being an all in one cleanser.

Also, if you use this cleanser do you have to use the Liz Earle moisturiser too for it to work or can you use any moisturiser?

I really want to like this because of the compliments I've had, even though I find the cloths a bit of a faff also.

  • I got mine free too and like it. I leave mine on for about ten minutes with no problems. I don't use it to remove my mascara though.

Does anyone know the least expensive place to buy Liz Earle? Qvc?

The redness may just you having the cloth too hot or rubbing too hard

They admit on QVC that it's no good on long staying eyeliner and mascara. They recommend using a dedicated eye make up remover, but any oil will work

You can use any moisturiser you like with it.

They also do offers in the shops, but there are very few shops... I usually buy from QVC or the email, when they do special offers.

They warn that skin may react at first, which mine did, but it soon settled down. My ultra-sensitive skin has been so good since I switched to Liz Earle that I forget it's not normal.

I've never left C&P on for more than a couple of minutes so no beetrooting here. Believe some people use a clean flannel instead of the cloths...
