Everyone seems to rave about the Aldi version of pulled pork in the "good and bad buys from Aldi & Lidl" thread, but has anyone tried the Lidl version ?

Nothing for me yet again. My hit rate of weekend offers seems to be about 1 in 4. Which means 3 out of 4 Saturdays I needn't miss out on any beauty sleep :beer:

I have yet to try the pulled pork, this seems as good a time as any

I will pick up a couple of boxes of popcorn, always handy to have and with Asda now selling popcorn flavouring, I will nip in there to see what flavours that have

I was late getting to the shop today but plenty of everything in the offer still on the shelves, I don't know if this means that the pork is no good but I got one anyway to try it for future reference

Just tried the pork. Okay , but not good enough to tempt me to go back and buy some more

I'm a vegaterian but husband, son, MIL & FIL all thought the pulled pork was very nice. It made a good boat dinner last night.
