Guys
Not sure if this shjould be somewhere else on MSE, but I need to bring in a second income. I work full time, AND unfortunately the hours overlap into my evening AND can vary considerably, therby making it difficult to commit to say a job in the local pub every weds evening.....
So far I have been doing as much MS as poss. Its been really good fun, enjoyed lots of nice trips to bars and bingo clubs but actual PROFIT after expenses and petrol is probably less than £100 a month
Ebay is good, but not got much to sell (the dog?). Boot fairs same
Online surveys and click throughs......boring, and dont pay much. also i spend up to 10 hrs on a PC with work, so worry about RSI etc etc
Can I speak any languages? - No
Can I type quicklly for college thesis... - No
Transport - yes
enthusiasm - yes
Can I make anything to sell - think this is the answer....but struggling. Cant cook very well./ Cant sew. Cant .....aaaah I dont no what to do!
ALL IDEAS WELCOME PLEASE

Thank you
Couple of issues..... no overtime at work (manager role - although think it benefits the company ...60 hr weeks lol)
Issue with job such as bar is my hours form my main job which has to be my priority can vary at short notice. If the director phones my at 4pm and gives me a 3 hr report to write I cant tell him I have a bar job to go too
Leaflet delivery...cool, where do i find out more?
Provi.....not sure much demand round here - very rural
dog walkin, could do, guess advert in the post office window - they would have to be happy with early / late walks
think i need something from home, what could I produce???????????????
Thx

Sorry - i didn't realise you worked such long hours.
I thibnk i have looked into every home working scheme and there isn't much out there tbh.
There are a loads and loads of websites offering work from home job info but you need to send a cheque for the info - DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!
The only other thing would be saucy texting from your PC. There was one site i joined as it said you could do friendly texts instead of the dirty ones but when the forms came through it was all for adult content. I asked about the clean ones and was told i had to do the saucy ones before being offered those ones. I didn't bother with it - but it does pay well.
Same with the phones calls - did one. Yuck. never again. Some man playing with himself while your talking to him over doing the dusting. Not very nice - for me anyway.
I was asking on the 'maximising your income' thread about proff reading but no one answered me
Hopefully this reply will bump you up a bit and more people will suggest.Official DFW nerd no 551 - proud to be dealing with my debts

Hmm very interesting, I had a look myself.
You have to send a minimum of 2000 texts in a month, although the site didn't say how much they paid for this.
Might be a good little earner thou, something to do at 3 am between shifts!

from what i remember they pay 5p per text and you can expect to send about 50 texts an hour.
As long as you send at least 2000 a month, you can log on any time to do it.
It is quite easy work but you are self employed so you need to do your own tax etc.
From the test i had to do before being accepted - you have to be VERY open minded.
I could probably do the texting now but didn't feel right texting someone when DH was sitting beside me.
Now he's gone it wouldn't be so bad - might even end up havinghim on the other end of the phone :rotfl: :rotfl:Official DFW nerd no 551 - proud to be dealing with my debts

I have actually just looked at that site, which is so obviously aimed at women being employed to text men....
I wonder if being a man, I could pull off texting in the persona of a woman!Signaller, author, father, carer.0
