Hillarys blinds win

Had a call from Hillarys blinds today to say I`d won a competition but as I was at work I couldn`t really speak so they said they`d call back after 4.30pm. I cant find link and still waiting for them to call back. Eeek!! I`m searching for the post to find out what it could be but thanks in advance to the OP. xx:money::T

Scrap that.. got a phone call back and it was a promotional call as I entered a comp- I have an offer for money off a bit miffed they made it sound like a win. Never mind(boo-hoo)xx

Bloody hell How annoying! I had a call once from a magazine..."Hello, I'm calling from **** magazine.......you recently entered a competition with us?"
I almost stopped breathing with excitement

They wanted to know if I wanted to buy a discounted subscription :P

had a call as well from them saying '' hello, you entered a competition to win ....etc,
then added would I like a quote for blinds,
I replied ''no, thanks,
I entered the comp to win the comp''
they replied ''oh i'm sorry, the winner has been chosen &
sorry but it wasn't you, but I can give you quotes for ...(blah blah)
replied ''thanks but no thanks, nice competition you ran maybe i'll win the next one, thanks again, bye''
& put the moby down.

I got that same call. I hate those, they made it sound like I'd won too. They started the conversation with. "I'djust like to let you know a winner has been picked and I just need to confirm a few things with you..." Doing this really puts me off a company. I'll never use Hillaries blinds.

Not good, I was so excited and the woman earlier really made it sound like I`d won something. I told him when they called back I wasn`t interested. That`s my anti-climax for the day- I wonder how many more people get a call- I thought it was Hillarys as the line was terrible earlier but it was in fact Thomas Sanderson I found out. xx

I had that once too, with exactly the same reaction!!
Shame your call wasn't a win OP, hopefully next time!

I`ve had a good run of luck so I don`t expect any more but for just a minute.. that little buzz of excitement bubbled lol xx

I certainly don't think its worth entering the competitions that these 'Blinds' sale places advertise. I'm always dubious whether there really is a winner or they are just trying to drum up more business.
