Redundancy Terms

I have just been offered voluntary redundancy today which I'm not unhappy about as I was going to leave anyway but I want to make sure that the terms are correct. My contract states that both parties must give a minimum of 3 months' notice. The statement I have given gives me a figure that represents 3 months' salary so ...
I have holiday due and I think that my holiday entitlement should be calculated to the end of the 3 month notice period and not from when I actually leave as i will be 'officially' still be employed until the end of the 3 month period but when I asked I was told it would be pro rata if I choose to take the payment in lieu.
The HR lady also casually mentioned that the 3 months started at the beginning of June - I think that I should be paid for the 11 days of June I have worked and also the full 3 months payment in lieu of notice.
When will I be able to claim NI based Job Seekers Allowance?

As soon as you leave your current job. When I was made redundant in 2010 I received 3 months PILON but was able to sign on immediately.0

Although the term is frequently used, technically there is no such thing as "voluntary redundancy" so what you actually have is a mutually agreed severance. Therefore the terms are whatever you agree. Generally the firm makes an offer which you either accept, reject or negotiate.
If you were being made redundant then the firm must pay you at least the minimum amounts laid down by law. Under those circumstances, if you felt it was not a genuine redundancy situation you could potentially claim unfair dismissal.0
