Asda Credit Card Free Delivery

I have an Asda credit card and have been using it for some time purely for grocery shopping. If you spend over £125 you get free delivery. Unfortunately they have now started charging me for delivery, when I questioned this with Asda they said the free delivery had ended. This came completely out of the blue for me and I just wondered whether anyone else had been notified of this? The free delivery was the only reason I took out their credit card and now theyve got rid of it, without any notice, I assume theres some small print somewhere so they can just do that? :mad:

Has anyone else been affected by this, and what do people plan to do in the future?

No doubt it was one of the gimmicks they used to get people to sign up to their credit card in the first place. I bet loads of people signed up for it when hey saw the 'free delivery' ad.

Just stop using it if you're that bothered by it. Get a Tesco one instead. I think they're offering free delivery on goods if you spend over £125.

Do you know where you saw about the Tesco card, just had a quick google but can't see anything?

I made it up Helen. But they'll have some sort of daft offer like that. Don't fall for it though, not this time

It wasn't a bad deal really, I've had free delivery for well over a year. Just a bit miffed they've not told me it was ending!
