I got sent a face cream to trial for the Litmus Test people. It comes in a glass jar with a pink lid, I'm very very curious as to what it is! Anyone else doing this trial?

Sorry I can't help with your query, but hope you don't mind one from me. I tried to register with Litmus some time ago, but their website said they weren't taking new applicants until April 2011. Are they very difficult to join, or is it simply a question of being patient? Thanks.

I don't even remember joining, it must have been ages ago! It's the first time I've been contacted for a trial, let alone been sent anything. I guess you just have to wait. It was rather odd, I have to say, the questionnaire was quite short, and I just got an email to tell me my sample was on its way. Then I received the jar of cream yesterday. It doesn't fill me with confidence, tbh, knowing I'm putting this unknown stuff on my face! lol

Thanks. I hope your face survives whatever it is you're putting on it! I'll try to keep my eyes open end March/beginning of April to see what it's all about.

I have done several trials for Cosmetic Research and had some great products to try. Yesterday I just had to complete a questionnaire after signing up to the "trial" - no product. Never done a questionnaire for them before - has anyone else?

I had the same email a few days ago, and was very suspicious, so asked for advice on MSE. Eventually I decided to phone them up - especially to ask how they got my email address in the first place - and the receptionist said that someone would get back to me. They never did, so I've filed it under 'A mystery. Ignore.'

I emailed them a few days ago but got no reply - so now I've binned it too! :rotfl:

Me too- its something about the menopause, but says that its just a questionaire and no mention of anything for doing it.
I'm sure i saw somewhere that it was going to take sometime to fill in. Not sure if this one will be worth it.

I've had an email from Information by Design Ltd for Toiletry Products Research Project where you would need to keep a diary of your purchases.
There is no mention of any 'freebies' or reward for doing this. Does anyone know about it?
Not being cheeky but I don't want to spend time on it for free when they are obviously being paid for the work!!

    thanks ;)
I did something like this about 8 years ago.
You got a £5 WHS voucher for filling in 2-3 very large booklets and you were put into a draw to win a bigger prize (not that i ever did)
It used to take me over 3 hours a week to fill in the booklets:eek: not worth the time or energy.

Oh I have done the questionnaire - it only took about 5 minutes and had to be done on either the 18th or 19th I think so you have probably missed it.

Anyone else done this one or a questionnaire previously?
