Still moving down the OPing track

Hi all

Been around this forum for a while now, but haven't posted for a while. Always good to see what people are doing plenty of good ideas and inspiration.

Currently have 2 mortgages and am OPing £50 per month off our smaller mortgage with the higher rate. Works out to a just under 50% overpayment.

Currently trying to top up my rainy day savings, once this is done I hope to pay more, although reluctant to pay in too much as want to live for the moment (pros and cons to this approach I know).

Anyway, just wanted to let you know what I'm up to and wish everyone good luck with their OPing, no matter how small it all helps to reduce the debt.

Cheers

Wishing you all the best on your MFW plans. Do you have a rough target date of when you would like to be MF?

As many on here say "it's a marathon and not a sprint" and balance is definitely the key. I would love to throw all spare money towards the mortgage, but I need to be sensible and keep adding to my Emergency Fund and still want to have money to do fun things as a family :).
