2F? Who are they

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to pay off my debts bit by bit now I'm in a stable job and have my life running back on track.
I've heard a lot about dodgy companies trying to scam you out of money and unfortunately it happened to me with a debt management plan years ago, so i'm taking it upon myself to get it settled.
Today my Parents (I don't live there anymore) received a phone call from 2F trying to find out where i live but wouldn't confirm who they were working for.
I've tried to do some research on them but all i found out was it could be a link with wescott.
I guess what I'm after is to know if they are a reliable company to pay back the money to, or is there a better way of handling this?
Appreciate everyone's time.
Will

I've never heard to 2F but they may well be a debt tracing agent.
Never agree to pay anything on the strength of a phone call.
Before you agree to pay any debt collector for a debt I would always ensure you obtain from them written proof of the debt and proof they
have a right to collect the debt.
Did you parents provide this company with your current address? Has any post for you been sent to their address?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
It's been numerous messages on my parents home phone trying to find out where I live.
I don't think any correspondence has been sent but i'll have to drive over and check any mail I may have.
Thanks for the reply.0
