No communication is frustrating

I have sent letters ,e-mails registered mail to the CSA and all have been ignored. I even sent a complaint registered mail which was ignored. I finally sent a complaint to the I.C.E office and they pushed the CSA to write to me and advised me to get back to them if I wasnt happy with the response from the CSa.
I was told that I would be referred for financial compenation but have not even had any communication from this relevant dept!!!
The letter I recieved from the CSA required me to ask them for further clarification on my case but I have still had no reply to this letter. My last letter was to give them a dead line to respond to my letter of complaint which is up today.
Im now going back to the I.C.E. office, has any one else had a problem with not having communication from the CSA.

Sorry I can't help you with any advice as I am not that clued up with the ins and outs of how the CSA works but I am sure someone on here will be able to advise you.
As for having communication problems with the CSA I don't think there would be anyone on here who hasn't had that problem!I can only please one person per day.Today is not your day.Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.0 -
Absolutely - even staff who work there don't get a better service!0

Hi, (firstly look for my previous thread).
It does get better, honestly!
My son is almost eight now but have just about received NRP's contribution to first years worth of fees towards nursery soft shoes, (according to policy they are required for attendance). Also, recently have received enough to cover half the cost of a DS game! Anyway aforementioned NRP has disapeared without trace for who knows how long?
Although you/your child may not be receiving what you are entitled to...you may at some point receive something? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I know that the CSA is not functioning properly and Im not suprised that it costs so much to run it if they have to compensate people when they mess up !!!! The fact of the matter is that I want money from the absent parent not the government. I just dont understand why the CSA can be allowed to continue operating so badly when other government departments seem to get by ok. I am not expecting to have a great response frm the ICE office but lets wait and see....0

Hi OP,
If you go to your local MP and ask him to approach the CSA to raise a complaint on your behalf - they will respond.
I should know, been receiving monthly payments via DD since May! Third payment came through this morning. Only voluntary and will probably stop at some point but then again, ex works for a respectable company and may well want to avoid a DEO
Honestly, the MP is the way to go. You need someone with power to represent you basically - someone they cannot ignore.
Best of luck x0 -
some are better than others though! Miracles won't happen though. In my case it just sped things up but it still took many complaints via my MP to get my case on the right track.0

I know but I was hoping to just solve the problem at hand tbh which is how to get a response. Whether or not that response will be helpful will be seen when it happens...
Don't think there's ever a sure-fire way to get the result you want with any financial affair that involves a government agency to be honest!!! But I do know that as a government agency they cannot ignore a member of parlimant even if they still don't give the answer that is required.0 -
My MP has asked me not to write to him any more !!!!!!!!!!!0

That's nice of him!! Go above his head to the next MP or whatever they are called!gypsyjanet wrote: »My MP has asked me not to write to him any more !!!!!!!!!!!
