Noddle - Legit?

Hi All,
Sorry if this post has been already - I could not find it.
Is Noddle legit? They are asking for my bank details and I did credit checks before and no-one has ever asked this?
My credit should be fine but due to a bank error last month my monthly direct debit was not taken - the bank assured me this would be removed from my credit file but I would like to check this. And, well, banks lie.
Thanks in advance

Yes they are legit, and are mentioned in articles on the MSE site. I think they ask you some questions about things on your file to ensure you are who you say you are and to give you instant access to your report.0

Hi All,
All good with the bank, although it says I made a repayment of £0 that month it is marked as green "OK" the same as all other months.
However something did pop up - It says I am financially connected with my ex. We only had one joint bank account and my name was taken off this account and he kept it on. The account was £300 in credit at the time. Which I just transferred over as it was used for all household expenses.
So should I go into the branch? Could I still be named on the account or something? I stopped getting all statements etc when my name was taken off the account. SO I would have though any financial connection ended there?
Anyone know anything about this kind of thing?
Many thanks!Originally debt free 27th November 2014 :T

I can dispute the record with the drop down option of "I am no longer financially connected with this person".
I'm more concerned I do more harm than good to my record disputing something that is not causing any issues.
But fact is - I am not connected to him and concerned that he could end up in trouble and my credit record could be impacted!
Shouldn't have checked now. I make myself crazy with small things!Originally debt free 27th November 2014 :T

Thanks - this is what I thought.
I am sure it would have been fine but you never know what the future holds! I've got enough to worry about with my Husband never mind throwing the ex's finances into the mix :rotfl:Originally debt free 27th November 2014 :T

I had the same thing with my ex wife and Noddle.
I emailed Noddle with the details of when we divorced and stated that we have no current financial connection. It was gone a week or two later.
If you are that bothered you may want to check the other agencies.BSC No 248

Thanks Lensman.
That is good to know. I'll wait until the Noddle (free one) is updated and then I will give it another couple of weeks before I check the others.
I was planning on checking the other anyway. Trying to be the organised person I should have been 10 years ago...
