I'm giving up for tonight. I've found the destination I want at £0.01p, but every single date I've tried insists on adding the taxes even though it's supposed to be included. I think there must be a problem with the site, so I'll wait until tomorrow.

Can I ask, what method of payment did u use to get it to a total cost of 6p cos I'm getting charged £20 to use visa?
    thanks :)
  • Stanstead to Venice x 4 return tickets, total 8p

You have to choose the later flights on both days to get the nil taxes

I think that you if you use cards other than Debit/Switch cards you get charged.

I've not seen any completely free flights on this offer yet - plenty for 1p but none absolutely free like it suggests.

With the 1p fares, Web Fares will add taxes and charges on, 1p Reg Fares will cost that, 1p so look out for that when picking your flights.

I suspect they use 1p as it's virtually free yet allows them to charge their card fees (unless you have a Visa Electron card handy!). I don't object to the principle of charging a card processing fee but I don't believe Ryanair do it in a transparent manner and doubt it reflects their true card processing costs.

It also annoys me that card + baggage fees have doubled in the last 12 months.

But hey, still a bargain :)
