US address to ship to UK?

Hello All,

There are a few things I want to buy online from a US site but they only deliver in the US. The UK site's price is almost 3 times that of the US price.

I have seen that you can use a US address and have the items shipped there and reshipped to the UK - has anyone ever used this service?

I signed up to Borderlinx but I'm not sure if it's all above board?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible, and you can import goods to the UK as long as they are legal in the country and you pay duty (I think it goes off VAT which is 20% of the value).

What are the goods? Might give us a bit more insight.
