DWP overpayment £6000 please help!!! :'(

Hi all

This is my first post here, so hello to everyone.

I have just received a letter stating that I have been overpaid £6000 due to overpayment of employment and support allowance.
Circa April 2009.

I have no idea why this is the case I have always declared everything correctly to the DWP and am now in this horrible situation, I do not owe this money.

What should I do, please help!

:(:(:(

The first thing you do is try to keep calm.

Tomorrow morning contact them and ask for an explanation as to why they think you owe the money.

For instance were you living with someone who worked but claiming income based?
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

  • Hi Torry

    Thanks, for replying so quick.

I have already spoken to them and they told me to put it in a letter, is there a template or something along this line or some kind of step by step guide?

    So upset

Have a look at his site, and get some advice from CAB:

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
