I picked up an aloe vera plant in a charity shop many years ago for pennies. The gel inside the leaves works wonders for burns and skin problems, and has produced several plants over the years . If you want to save money, buy a plant .

Aloe vera is great for all skin-purposes. Escpecially after too much sun. Coconut type moisturiser is also brilliant too - especially for those with dry skin.
