When do endowment payments stop?

I'm currently in the enviable position of having an endowment policy about to mature. Well, it would be an enviable position if it paid out what was originally intended, but that's by-the-by.

My question is, the policy matures on 7th July 2014, so tomorrow I make what I think could be the final payment, but will a payment be due of the date of maturity?

I have heard nothing from the provider as yet. I'm wondering if they wait until the final payment has been made until advising you what the policy will deliver. Again, is this so? Thanks.

If I remember rightly ours came about 4 days after maturity date

Payments are normally due monthly in advance. So tomorrow will be the last premium collected.

Maturity values cannot be calculated until the maturity date. As bonus rates could change in the intervening period.
