Self employed childminder..Expenses question?

My wife became and Ofsted registered childminder back in April, I have been running a spreadsheet to cover her expenses but was wondering if anyone with extra knowledge could answer a few queries:
1-She uses our car for pick ups drop offs, day trips etc. She keeps fuel receipts but we do use the vehicle for private use too. Can we claim back a certain % of the receipt as keeping mileage records is time consuming. We also had a high repair bill due to a mechanical problem this week, can she put this down as an expense? or even a % of it.
2-Internet/phone, same question as it's from home can we claim a certain % for business use.
3-Utility bills, council tax. Again, what sort of % can she claim against her earnings.
I have looked on HMRC but it's very bloated, hopefully someone has experience on the matter. Thanks in advance!
edit: just found this, very easy to understand http://www.angus.gov.uk/childminding...I-16-11-11.pdf
