Can't open an attachment

Right click the file.
Click "open"
You will get one of two messages: "Open With -" and a list of programmes. Click "Open With Adobe Reader." Click this to open it.
OR:-
"Windows cannot open This File. Do you wish to use the internet to open it?" - (or similar words) Then you will be offered a programme to open it. Take care with whichever programme you choose, there may be checkboxes in the download. Uncheck them.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
