Can't open an attachment

Saved an Email with an attachment in a Folder but when I try to open PDF File it is unreadable. (Windows 7 and Live Mail)

    I'm assuming that you've got a PDF reader installed on your computer? For example, Adobe?

    Yes I have Adobe and before I saved Email I opened and printed it with no problem.

    it depends what format the attachment is in, whether it's corrupt or empty, whether you have a program capable of reading the attachment, and the file extension and file associations need to be correct

    File opens in unreadable format 3 options given to make it readable but none work.

    PDF File.
    Options given Windows(Default) MS_DOS Other encoding.

    the file has a pdf extension and you've saved that file (the attachment) to the hard disk, and it still has that extension. what size is the file, have you tried opening it in adobe outside the browser

    find and run adobe acrobat, then open the pdf file
