Hi, my parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary (ruby!!) and i need ideas for presents! I want things that will mean something! My eldest is going to draw a portrait of then to get framed, my other daughter is going to get a vase, some red gems and some smooth pebbles and we are going to get everyone in the family to write a message on each stone and put everything in the vase, but now i am stuck for my son!!! Any ideas would be great, preferably home made

If you did get a special plant could he paint a plant pot with the date they were married on? Or fill a jar with ruby coloured sweets and personalise the jar?0
