Yep £3 or less for a bottle of wine.

£1 or less for 4 loo rolls. ;)

10p a clothes wash so per tab/cap full I'm not fussy.

Oh and 1p for a big box of chocolates. :D

I have those prices too, but i reduced wine prices down to £2.50 recently.
I also won't pay more than £1 for a jar of coffee. It's always millicano, nescafe, carte noire etc (however, I pay £7 a bag for real coffee to go in my gaggia but shhhhh. ) The jar coffee is for guests, the real coffee is for me. :D
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

Oh forgot ground coffee has to be under £2 for 227g, I usually manage to get some for anything from 75p to £1.49. I stock up wherever it is RTC. ;)

I only buy jar coffee once in a blue moon, but it is usually RTC from somewhere.

    Good afternoon all.

Had to take some time off work this afternoon as I had to take DH to A&E at 2am He has an infection in his lung but has antibiotics now so should be fine. He was very worried but suufered chest pain for 2 hours before he woke me:eek:

It never ceases to amaze me how the folk on here think like me although my money saving ways are pretty tame to some of you but I am learning.

I am of the 10p per wash etc but would never really mention that outside the family.

Remember when we got the cadburys treat size stuff well its now OOD and I had 3 big bags left. I only bought 6 initally. Took out the sweets with a good date and gave a big bag into work and added the stars which have 29/06 on them. Staff were delighted they will take the rest tomorrow :T

Afternoon all  Yesterday I mentioned that my mum had unwittingly signed up to someone that phoned yesterday from "stop these calls" . Still showing as pending £90 in her halif@x account. Does that mean that Halif@x still got a chance to stop that payment?

Reminder to vote for Holly at http://www.kingpet.co.uk/c/6132#.U6mI7mBOWAI

I have 20 jars left from last year but all the strawberry gone, I made over 100 jars last year but with family and friends they dont last so am going to make more but not to be used until the rest of last years has gone .. i freeze the soft fruits for winter use frozen strawberries are great in smoothies or for sauces over sponge puddings or icecream, we also dry a lot to use in cakes or with cereal etc..
yes you can put them on freecycle

I must be the only person in the world without a freezer! Just got the freezy bit at the top of the fridge. Can you dry soft fruit without a thingumidoo machine? (Name escapes me:o)

Do you live on a path where people walk past often?
We back onto quite a busy road/path and a few houses down often has plants/strawberries out the front with a tin for people to leave money in (usually £1 a punnet)
    Just an idea?

Trouble is everyone round here grows the bloomin' things....even the local pub refuses 'em now. (We offload loads of fruit and veggies free to the pub in return for the odd glass of wine)

I've seen runner beans and apples offered on ours in the past. I'm sure you'll be inundated with replies.

I know I've offered, and got rid of, loads of Bramley apples on Freecycle in the past but my local group has now become Freegle or Fregle or summat and all the rules seem to have changed. :o

Having a big garden is a right pain sometimes....I'd quite like to tarmac it all over and buy my fruit and veggies all clean and neat and uniform from the supermarket* :D
